Beautiful Maldives - 22 January 2019

So I'm going to write about my trip to Maldives as a start of my blog because I think Maldives is so beautiful, breathtaking, unique and probably we can share some useful tips thru travelling.

By the way, I just got married 6 months ago and haven't been going to a proper honeymoon until my hubby says "Let's plan for Maldives since it's our bucket list."

So, I was assigned to check the resort and flight timing. We cracked our heads in 2 weeks to get everything's done.

We went through so many hotels, resorts, read hundreds of reviews, other people 's experience, the dos and don'ts.

Although we've read and seen a lot of photos from the website, we still can't decide which one is the best for us.

As time getting closer to the date we fly, we scaled down few resorts that suit our budget and finally...

Our choice is...*drum rolls*...

Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives!

The reasons why we picked this resort are firstly, it just merely 20 minutes speedboat from Velana International Airport and secondly, it's newly built!

Once I got to see the blue Indian ocean and an uncounted sandbanks through the plane's  window, my heart stops beating. My jaw dropped. My eyes wide-open. SubhanAllah! so beautiful.

When I first touched down, I was so excited as I saw clear blue water just outside the airport and the speedboats parked along the jetty waiting for their guests to arrived. So clean and so so blue. I just couldn't believed my eyes and I just arrived but already told myself I don't wanna go back! haha

I was welcomed by a Japanese staff (forgot her name but I have a photo of her). She's so warm and friendly (every staff is friendly and helpful). she showed me around the resort and explained about this and that.

The rest of the story, let's just say put your bikini ON, SPF ON, camera ON, and enjoy the picturesque views.

I stayed at Lagoon Water Villa, North Male Atoll. I booked thru Agoda.com and it was nearly RM2k++ (half board package - breakfast & dinner) per night. The original price is RM5k++, per night. We booked last minute flight and got RM3k++ per prs return (2 weeks before we fly). Total for this trip roughly RM18K a couple.

It's worth it! xx
